  1. That is one hell of an impressive list, kudos. I wish I could afford all those fantastic films… Out of your list, I won 27.

  2. I *own* 27, I wish I had *won* 27

Knowing you, Nick, I didn’t even blink at your “mistake” the first time. 😛

  4. I need to see Whistle Stop, Minoes, La Stanza del Figlio, Sous Le Sabe, The Sheltering Sky, Strictly Ballroom, Quicksand, Night of the Ghouls, Jail Bait, 10 Things I Hate About You and 5×2. One thing’s for sure: I’ve really got to start going though Ozon!

Which Impact is that? I think there are at least seven or eight movies with that title. 🙂

It’s the 1949 Impact with Brian Donlevy. It’s a nice enough little noir, part of a noir box I have.

Of the ones you mention, I’d jump right to Sous le Sable. It’s the best Ozon I’ve seen so far, with an amazing performance by Charlotte Rampling.

Good thing you commented, incidentally. It reminded me that I need to update this list, I’ve bought quite a few DVDs recently.
